An impressive and imposing house. Originally an old property in a desirable location on the Sierra de Altea this house was completely transformed from being unremarkable to truly majestic.
All new installations were made including plumbing, electrics, carpentry, replacement windows as well as air conditioning and underfloor heating. A modest extension was carried out to provide additional space for a ground floor leisure area and sauna.
Without doubt the most impacting changes made were to the exterior facade which was taken back to the block work and then clad entirely with natural Tosca stone. This not only dramatically transforms the aesthetics of the property but also helps to prevent heat loss and provides a maintenance free exterior.
Outstanding features unique to this project include the construction of a tennis court, a pretty barbecue area with bread oven, Andalusian tile detail and wooden exposed beams. Extensive areas of hardwood decking, landscaped garden and natural dry stone walls, perfectly complete this high quality refurbishment project.
All work was carried out in the absence of the owner with the exception of occasional visits when tiles and finishes were chosen.
